With over 18 years’ experience in marketing for some of the world’s most prolific car brands such as Volkswagen, Audi and ŠKODA, Kirsten knows more than most about the demanding world of auto marketing.
Now leading the charge at ŠKODA, Kirsten has been instrumental in a complete overhaul of the brand overseeing all strategic communications planning, brand and digital development, events, CRM, customer quality and product management. She has blazed an impressive trail in a career which begun when she left University of Sheffield and joined the Volkswagen Group in 1998. She has been at the company ever since, working on VW brands and heading up several high-profile campaigns. ‘Driven by something different’ is ŠKODA’s brand positioning and that, incidentally, is Kirsten’s speciality having made her mark in a world that was for many years traditionally male.
